‘Rei’ meaning universal and ‘Ki’ energy or life force. Having a similar effect as meditation regular Reiki promotes balance of mind and body. Not a massage but a hands on technique radiating beautiful warmth and energy to balance your chakras, helping also to release and clear blockages sometimes causing issues to manifest.
Our bodies are amazing machines. Not only does our subconscious automatically take care of our breathing, circulation, digestion and other vital processes without us even thinking, it may also have the ability to bounce back and heal itself when faced with certain amounts of stress.
If you have been facing a lot of emotional stress, physical pain or you feel your body has simply had enough then a simple session of Reiki may be enough to lift you and balance your energy flow. All of these can have a negative impact on your entire wellbeing. When we continue in this situation our body starts to show the signs and our health and wellbeing declines. We feel down, lethargic our overall vibration is low.
If find yourself becoming short tempered, have emotional outbursts; suffer from headaches, stomach aches, muscle tension and pain; feel anxious, overwhelmed or bad habits such as over eating, under eating, smoking and alcohol start to creep in, then maybe this could be for you.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A REIKI SESSION
During a reiki session, the practitioner places their hands either directly on you or just above you to bring about healing. The belief is that the practitioner transfers Universal Energy to stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities
Reiki is one of the more effective holistic therapies available today and something I love to incorporate into my Wellbeing sessions or if preferred I offer single sessions.
Reiki is now practiced and acknowledged widely in hospitals throughout Australia, helping people reduce both emotional and physical pain, it can be particularly useful to help people relax and feel at peace with certain medical treatments.
Results will vary from person to person.
